 | Subject: Big enough tank? 10/28/2009, 2:39 pm | |
| I have a 15 Gallon tank, and I have one emp scorpion already but Im thinking of expanding to getting another one. I have two hiding caves put into the tank now and a water dish, using coco husk for substrate (peat moss basically) I was just wondering what adjustments I'd need to make so that I can accomodate another emperor in my tank. Also, my emp now is a female, would it be wise to get a male or a female? I'll assume another female since I'm not looking to breed right yet. Any advice at all would be great, if I should add more hiding spots to the tank, get more substrate, change the substrate, anything that I need to do to get another scorpion in there. Thanks |

| Pix help. The tank is big enough to support two P.imps without much risk. _________________ If I knew what I was coming back to...I may very well have stayed gone! This should answer any and every question you have about your P.imp (unless you want scientific docs): http://scorpionforum.darkbb.com/the-burrow-in-ghana-emperor-zone-f34/frequently-asked-questions-about-emperor-scorpions-p-imperator-t13.htm_________________ If I knew what I was coming back to...I may very well have stayed gone! | I hear a good rule is 5 gal per emp? How big are yours? Mine live happy in about an 10 gal with 1 bit of cork bark and a fake plant that has as many hiding places as they can find, but usually they chill together under the cork bark |

| the pet store didn't have anything smaller than a 15 gallon tank so I had to get it. My scorpions are normal sized. |
