| Sorry, I was still thinking about the original news article - a Freudian slip, if you will. _________________ If I knew what I was coming back to...I may very well have stayed gone! | I think the "they are Brits" comment was aimed at my joke about the double-entendre possibilities of someone saying he was looking for a secure place to hide his leopard gecko. _________________ If your emperor scorpion stops eating, don't panic. | My reviews | My Bug Pictures | My blogBe nice -- you were a noob once, too "Never ask an engineer to explain something, because he will." |

Theraposa blondi (Goliath Bird Eater) is known to reach lengths of a foot - runa search and I'm sure you'll find pix and/or video of an adult._________________ If I knew what I was coming back to...I may very well have stayed gone! | there is a slightly larger species of theraposa that also gets so a foot. not a very common one though. at least they didn't say poisonous.... | Quote: | | I think the "they are Brits" comment was aimed at my joke about the double-entendre possibilities of someone saying he was looking for a secure place to hide his leopard gecko. |
