We found this scorpion while working on a set in Santa Clarita CA. From what I can gather, it looks like a stripedtail scorpion, but I'm not 100% sure and I'd like to get some confirmation. Any help would be appreciated. If another angle would help in the identification, let me know and I'll get it. Thanks.

Hard to say from the picture quality but it looks vaejovid to me. Awesome if you want keep it as a pet they’re fairly low in toxicity and fun to watch. V. spinegarus is likely (striped tail) considering your location.

Yeah, I'd guess V. spinigerus as well (or Hoffmannius spinigerus, depending on which name you go with).

Well I should go with the current classification I'm honestly just not used to it, so I guess it's Hoffmannius spinigerus
