| probably fine sand particles? my HH got a couple of similar looking white spots in between the tergites, at first i thought it was "mycosis" which obviously it isn't and i even tried removing it with a toothbrush lol.. it came off by itself eventually

| Well if it is a wound some sand would have gotten on it. I tried to use a moist q-tip to clean it off but I couldn’t do it safely she tried to climb the q-tip and tried to tag me twice. Very aggressive specimen I should have noticed this behavior before I put her with my other ones. As you can see her membrane is getting a little reddish so this is making me believe she actually might be gravid. But there’s still the chance that she just got really fat from cannibalizing. | |
