PostSubject: Remembering my Androctonus Australis, Obi   4/9/2013, 9:27 am

Hi everybody!

A few years ago I was visiting a pet store in a town not far from me.
The guy who I have known since I was a child, said he had something that was really my cup of tea.
He presented me with a scorpion, he did not know the species, just that a student who was on campus now couldn't take care of it anymore, but he suspected in to be Heterometrus Spinifer.

I immediately saw that this wasn't...
After a while I found out via another forum that it was in fact, Androctonus Australis.

I called it Obi, I had Obi for almost 4 years. It ate very little but always was very plump.
It was always very secretive and a pet hole but I enjoyed it very much.

A few months ago, it died. And I was very upset.
Buried it in my backyard.

I very much get attached to animals I take care of.
I miss it very much still.

I came across the pictures I hid away in my archive because I couldn't yet look at them.
But I wanted to see it again and share with you some pictures.

Perhaps in the future, I will purchase another A. Australis, I enjoyed it's beauty very much! Smile

Take care,

Joey
