| not really.. people here in bahrain are only interested in big wild cats and birds of prey. back in the philippines, Ts are by far more popular than scorps that's why scorp prices there are cheap and there's a surplus of h.longi,hh,p.trans and c.celebensis that virtually no one from there wants them anymore unless they're a beginner

| Big cats?!? Is it the whole status symbol thing? I remember reading an article in National Geographic about cheetahs. Apparently a lot of baby cheetahs are smuggled out of Africa and sold for thousands of dollars to wealthy Middle Easterners who like to keep a cheetah alongside their super-car and million dollar thoroughbred. Apparently it's the new fashion in places like the U.A.E and Saudi Arabia. Anyway..........back to scorpions lol.
I always thought the scorpion hobby was fairly strong in the Philippines. I guess it's like here in the UK then, where Ts are by far the most popular invert to keep. Although getting rid of surplus stock is never usually a problem here.

| By the way, a surplus Gyrfalcon or Peregrine would also be accepted | |

| exactly! true that! cheetahs are mostly kept by the royal family as well as by nobles and rich families here.. desert leopards and arabian panthers are exorbitantly priced in public markets alongside veggies lol.. yeah it is but unlike most of the active posters here like us who prioritize scorpions over Ts, back in PH, scorpions are secondarily kept with a T much like a side dish or for bandwagon appeal surplus slings usually die off if not sold. releasing surplus slings also proved futile back home. here scorpions are considered pests. my Indian neighbor even asked me: 'why do you keep those? in India it is bad luck to keep or kill scorpions or else you will be reincarnated as such'. lol | |

If there is surplus send me a few of each haha! it is one of the cheapest and numerous in terms of supply back home so to speak. hey tamed, adult gyrfalcons are still kinda pricy here, $850 worth if i converted it correctly hahaha

| Thats cheap actually, my friend just paid over £2000 for an Albidus Goshawk and they get even more expensive!
As I said, any surplus P trans would be accepted and shipping costs would be paid

| What are the laws for shipping from the Philippines I know Vixvy ships from there. I'm sure you could easily get rid of your scorps to people here on SF. Everyone wants some of H.h. And I'd KILL for and I.mac . Anyways I don't know a country where Scorpions are not second to tarantulas | |

| I was going to buy some scorpions from a guy in the Philippines a couple of years ago, so it is possible. The thing that put me off though was the $50/£30 shipping fee. | |
