look up mycosis and proper humidity and water use in desert set ups. If it was wild caught (WC) the mycosis could have come from the wild. If you're keeping water in it's tank then the mycosis came from that. Pictures would as usual be a great help.

Although that pic is brutally unclear it looks a lot like mycosis especially by where it is presenting. She may have had some from the wild then. Keep the enclosure bone dry. Offer water one night per month in a bottle cap and do not mist ever. It is fungus and will spread until your scorpion dies if you keep misting or provide a wet climate.

It's not necessarily your fault as they are prone to it as a desert species. Keep the enclosure BONE DRY from now on and it will not spread. Being on legs isn't life threatening but it can spread to book lungs etc. and that will cause health risks to scorpions.

(edit)Not sure shy I called it a she. From the pic and my best guess it's a he.

scorpions can display that behavior, are you offering it food, holding it in front of your scorpion? If you are then this is a sign that it doesn't want any.

That's a defensive posture.

Give it a little peace and quiet and it will calm down eventually.

Does your sand support burrowing?

Yeah make a good mix of sand/clay just enough to make it a bit more compact, so it will support burrowing.
Your temp and humidity is fine.

Does it have a hide?

Displaying natural behavior reduces stress for the animal.
Natural behavior meaning being able to burrow and hide:)
