Are all spider egg sacks fertile? I have had a Brown Recluse spider for about 6 months. She has layed about 5 eggs sacks so far. (I am disposing of them as I don't want babies.) I wonder if all spider eggs sacks are fertile? For safety reasons I will assume they are fertile but I'm not sure. Thanks.

Well, yes spiders do sometimes lay infetrile egg sacs.

There's no way to tell of course unless you let them hatch or you've witnessed the mating.

That's what I thought. Thanks. I'll keep disposing of them as I don't want baby brown recluses LOL!
