So my seller bailed on me and I have not been able to find a decent seller of these species; be it due to the season I'm not sure. Needless to say I have an empty desert terrarium with no scorpion to put in it, so I was wondering if any UK breeders / collectors have and slings / sub adult Desert Hairy's or Dune scorps they would be willing to sell me, can send payment through Paypal and arrange to buy by the end of this week Smile

Many thanks,

George

You may want an adult desert hairy. Molting is extremely difficult for them in captivity. They live for a very long time too, up to 15-20 years in the right conditions, so you might want to consider an adult.

Hope your search turns out well!

Ah right thanks, I've noticed a few discussions of how bad they are with molting and I think someone recently lost one to a molt? Could be wrong but yeah I think adult may be the best idea for me, I will continue my search! Razz ty

Kinda felt bad for you reading this, so did a little digging....

Click for a UK dealer currently stocking H. Arizonensis here

Perhaps this is a nice offer.

Take care now.

+1 Joey! Nice hook up!
Definitely get an adult...sub-adults just don't molt well in captivity.

Cheers Joey! I'll order one towards the end of the week, I've bought a second heterometrus mysorensis to keep my first little guy company, and racked up another Heterometrus longimanus too, weather seems to be improving towards the end of this week so I hope to see some arrivals soon!

thanks again,

George

Thanks Bayss, and youre welcome George, I can understand the anti-climax when someone bails that's always a bust.

Keep us posted;)
