Which is Better?

I heard that Heterometrus spinifer are nice scorpions, but my plans for things needed are already set for an Emperor Scorpion. This will be my first scorpion ever, I need to know which is better. I live in the Philippines and the temperature is mostly hot and sometimes called [thanks climate change], and I am permitted to only buy a 10 gallon aquarium/terrarium. Which one is cheaper and more available?

Neither is better. They both require the same set up and care. And to be honest resemble each other so much it almost doesn't matter. Except for the science buffs. The average owner wouldn't easily pick them apart.

So if I were you I would go with which ever one was cheaper in your country. I'm from Canada and emps are the easiest and cheapest to find.

So to actually answer your question they are both great so pick whichever one you think would make you happier.

The one that isn't gravid will give birth to the least. Get a male if you don't want babies.

Can't say for sure. Sometimes, it depends on the specimen you have.
