| Happened before. Some mod from Chicago got mad cus' people where complaining. He said something like , go out and do something, stop complaining about something you get for free. XD it was just some tarantula people, so it's all good.  |

| yeah, I just got in - it's broke here too. I actually have business to attend to on there so I'm not too overly thrilled. the kid that sent me some I.macs that got here yesterday is on there only to the best of my knowledge |

| i was re-suspended there as of Saturday so I won't be able to post for a while on the good ol' AB.
out of all the bogus infractions I got, I can't believe that one was for telling Skinhead Dave that I was surprised he was a Vandals fan.

uh, I'm a skinhead too and I like the Vandals - what's wrong with that? they're a band we grew up listening to, the original lineup played in the movie Suburbia by Penelope Sphearis and they were featured on the soundtrack of another movie by Penelope called Dudes that also had Flea in a lead role as well as Lee Ving from Fear then she did yet a documentary called The Downfall Of Western Civilization which had many follow-up docs that sucked. point is that the Vandals have been around since before I was born and to spell it out for you a skinhead today is a punk that keeps a clean cut yet edgy appearance. I hope I don't have to spell out the origins of traditional skinhead culture or how skinheads aren't racist by tradition.

well, mainly because the Vandals are a band that most cali skater punks listen to, so all I did was make a comment since the majority of his likes in music were the early Skinhead reggae and Oi. it was just a comment. i have a wide variety of punk that i'm into, but the vandals are trash to me.
secondly, don't feel the need to lecture me on skinhead culture. i've been well aquainted with many SHARPIES and hammer skins in my area to know the history quite well. while, it isn't my scene, i appreciate the vast majority of Oi and skinhead reggae bands. |
