How do you know it's "so active" if you barely see it Question Wink
What species is it?

Well, as ShredderEmp said, scorpions are extremely sensitive to vibrations, so it may run back into it's burrow or hide as you walk in the room. Also, scorpions are nocturnal, (the exception would be Parabuthus villosus) so when they do emerge from their burrows/hides, it's usually at night. Scorpions will spend about 90% of their time hiding, so don't worry if you don't see it too much.

Common names are kind of misleading, fat tail could mean any Androctonus species so a pic would be your best bet on a ID.

Just noticed that he already posted an ID thread, it looks like a Androctonus crassicauda to me.
