Hi guys. Well I am receiving some awesome new scorps in a few weeks from one of my sources. He sent me pics of all the scorps and there is this one scorp that I know nothing about, I dont even know what genus it is lol. The only thing I know is that it comes from Afghanistan(I THINK!). I cant contact the guy at the moment as he is overseas busy with work.
If anyone can help:

judging by the keels on the tergites it's probably a Hottentotta species, namely Hottentotta saulcyi. Beautiful species too.

Hottentotta sp. I'm not sure about the exact species though.

I don't know if you have seen these, but here you go: Revision of the genus Hottentotta.
Distribution of Hottentotta saulcyi.

Here's a good list of possible culprits from Afghanistan.

http://www.ntnu.no/ub/scorpion-files/afghanistan.php

However, I'm relatively sure those are in fact Hottentotta saulcyi.

Really, seeing those defined keels on the tergites makes only a handful of genera come to mind (Leiurus, Hottentotta, Buthus, Compsobuthus, Mesobuthus)

Good luck.
