@Toidy, I know of a few people who breed Opistophthalmus in the Phillippines. I just dont know how successful they are.

i guess there's no luck yet. i'm really not sure but i think all of the opistothalmus spp in our country came from shipments. never heard of CB ones.

That could be true, you will probably just have to wait a while for the people to get the CB stock stable before you will find them frequently.

Yes, I would say they are larger. My A. bicolors and the A. australis I have seen are dwarved by the mauritanicus and they look much more robust.

I think I see embryos??

The stuff on the right is dirt, but behind it you can see the white blob.
The photo wasnt taken in the best light so its quite difficult to see the embryos.

I did a quick count and there were about 5 or 6, so not a big brood at all. Still, I am very happy that she gave me babies as these are notoriously hard to breed from what I have heard.
