Hello,
decide to take the pooch for a walk at a local adder spot this morning. It was freezing here last night and there was loads of ice up on the moors. However it is a stunning day and I went scouting on a few south facing banks, and lo and behold I spotted two adders having a warm together :-). I also spotted a few common lizards sitting on top of the heather but they were far to quick to get a decent picture of.
They're not a patch on Jay Steels stunning adder pics but I'm very pleased to have seen them and got pictures.
Spot the lizard haha. This one stayed still long enough for me to get a picture of its back.
