Estimating a scorpion's age

Hello,

Is it possible to estimate a scorpion's age?

I have purchased a Heterometrus longimanus a few weeks ago and although I believe it is an adult I'm not sure on what age he might have. Since you're much more experienced with scorpions, if you could please give me some help with some estimate for its age?

Instar may be estimated by telson's color, body size, sexual dimorphism etc..
But it'll be hard to estimated a adult scorpion's age... in terms of months/ years since it was born unless the keeper is the one who raise it up from young.

Wild-caught specimens are out of the question of cos..

Are you able to get any clue from your dealer?

I know it's not wild-caught but the pet shop wasn't able to inform me about the age. :/
