PostSubject: T magnimanus is really = T Falconensis?   3/9/2012, 4:18 am

Hey bro's Smile How are you all doing?

Just would like to know of T magnimanus is really the same as T falconensis?. I've searched and the net says T magnimanus is synonymous with T falconensis. Is it really true?, because my dealer is selling T falconensis Ecuador at a higher price than T magnimanus whereas the info says they are synonymous to each other. Are there REALLY a difference about these two sp? and if you will buy between these two sp, what would you guys choose? Help plss Smile Opinions are greatly appreciated Smile

Thanks in advance Smile

Yes, T. falconensis has been synonymized with T. magnimanus.

"T. falconensis Ecuador" sounds fishy in my opinion. Originally, it was called falconensis because it came from Falcon region in Venezuela.

Yes, they're the same.
If what he is selling are from ecuador, they may be different than T. magnimanus, but they wouldn't be T. falconensis. Have you seen them actually if there is a visible difference between the two?

I'd take the T. magnimanus, sounds a safer bet, as you don't really know what the other one really is.
