* Specimen: Rhopalurus junceus
* Result of breeding project: Successful
* Status of female: Captive Breeding
* Instar of the male/female pair: 6.instar male mated with a 7.instar female
* Steps taken to mate the pair: Male was introduced to female's enclosure and since then, a communal setup for the pair.

* Preparation for the adult pair prior to mating: Guide to Mating Scorpions

* Duration taken for signs of gestation:
- Physical signs of embryos was not obvious
- Increased of activity near the warmer side of the enclosure during the final 3 weeks prior to her brood
- No hostility towards the male was observed throughout the gravid stage

* Environmental conditions for the gravid female:
Refer to "Optimal enclosure settings for a gravid female" in bark scorpion caresheet

Note: In every interval between broods, the scorpion mum was given a 2 weeks rest after the 2.instar has dismount from her back before another introduced mating.

#1 brood

* Gestation period: 4.5 months
* Number of young born: 33
* Number of young eaten by mom: none
* Number of young surviving to 2.instar: Full brood survived


#2 brood

* Gestation period: 2.5 months
* Number of young born: 27
* Number of young eaten by mom: none eaten but 1 was found abandoned and dead on the bark
* Number of young surviving to 2.instar: 26


#3 brood

* Gestation period: 2.5 months
* Number of young born: 22
* Number of young eaten by mom: 0
* Number of embryos eaten by mom: 8
* Number of young surviving to 2.instar: 22


#4 brood

* Gestation period: 2.5 months
* Number of young born: 21
* Number of young eaten by mom: 0
* Number of embryos eaten by mom: 10
* Number of young surviving to 2.instar: 21


#5 brood

* Gestation period: 2.5 months
* Number of young born: 18
* Number of young eaten by mom: 0
* Number of embryos eaten by mom: 10
* Number of young surviving to 2.instar: 18

Average Life-cycle observation:
The time interval between moults may be adjusted as more specimens are being sampled to provide a more holistic stats.

Male
1.instar >> 2.instar: 6 days
2.instar >> 3.instar: 30 days
3.instar >> 4.instar: 45 days
4.instar >> 5.instar: 49 days
5.instar >> 6.instar: 50 days

Female
1.instar >> 2.instar: 6 days
2.instar >> 3.instar: 30 days
3.instar >> 4.instar: 51 days
4.instar >> 5.instar: 70 days
5.instar >> 6.instar: 80 days
6.instar >> 7.instar: 90 days

Average duration to achieve sexual maturity from birth:

6.instar male: 180 days / 6 months
7.instar female: 327 days / 11 months

Thanks for the comments peeps.

An update:

This particular female which has been documented, has gotten her fifth brood.

The numbers are getting slightly lesser as the specimen aged.
