My emperor and his weird stance...

Can some one please tell me what my emp is doing? it's sort of hard to see but his back is arched like straight up with his tail over his head. they have made it a routine to come out and lay under the light. but i have only caught him doing this once in the middle of the night, and he was like frozen, as he didn't scurry into his hole at first like usual. i really don't think it's a temperature issue as i typically keep it between 82 and 85.

I believe this is called "STILTING" it's a method that they use to regulate their body temperature.

+1 always seems weird when you first see it though lol

Something that threw me off was when I caught them Stacked on top of each other, 3 high lol.

I have turtles that do that lol
