The darker substrate is this, works well for most of my scorpions.

Swap the night glow for an infra red bulb. The night glow bulbs make them glow like a blacklight. That means they can see the light and it'll disturb their nocturnal activities. Other than that, maybe put a bit more substrate in there.

Is the divider secured?

What did you use the sponges for?

+1 to everything Street said.

Personally, I wouldn't use calci sand for a scorpion, it's usually just coloured calcium carbonate and not really sand. I prefer normal playsand or "desert sand" from the pet shop, as they're IMO a more natural product.
I doubt the scorpion will digest the sand though, so probably even the calci sand won't be an issue.

No there is a small gap between the glass [] as soon as i put him in there he when straight to the other side. So i put some substrate to try and cover it up, that's why there's that little pile of dirt on the empty side.

Its actually floral foam. I was going to use to make them sort of a hide they could get into kind of like a tunnel but wasn't sure on how it could effect the lil guy cause of the chemicals used to make that stuff and such, So i just did not use it ill post a pic up of how it was gonna look.

I would do something with that gap, as they will find a way to get under it. Not sure if I would use foam in my cages either, you can get the same effect with cork hollows.

Good Luck,

Rob
