| so i went into my desert hairy's home to get rid of crickets and to check scorps ok. but no find no scorp :'( i;ve read all over the place that all scorps are great escape artists but i don't even see its possible... bruno lives in a 60/45/45cm exo terra which has the top shut and the wire holes closed. i havn't opened the front since i put bruno in just a few days ago. i've dug up all the burrows. checked all its hides and looked inside. still no scorp really upset as this was my first scorp. don't think i'm going to sleep very well for a while. | |

| First, are you 100% sure not within the tank? If your sand substrate can support burrows, there are chances they might be interlinked with passage ways.. | |

| Thanks for the quick response guys I certainly would of had to try the uv light tonight but good news!! Came home and thought id have another search so took top off and it was behind the background where wires come from bottom. I seen it climb the background before but never noticed the darn holes. Really happy to find it but upset with myself for not noticing the holes. Bruno is fine at least. Already trying to get out using its tail. Many thanks Sam | |

| Thats great new I will recommend you to put the background on the outside of that tank. Personally, i find it pointless to let a scorpion climb that high to the top of the screen mesh and risk a high drop. And in your case, got lost behind it. | |

| Great that you found it, you should really consider getting a smaller tank tho, like a 30x30x30 | |
