Elo,

I have seen a few EU sellers offering these recently and was wondering if any of you guys knew much about them.

I know that they were only described this year and they are from Uganda, obviously lol. Snowgoose, who runs Invert Imports had Pandinus sp. 'Uganda' listed on his site this year and had this picture up of them.

What do you reckon, is this the same species? I can't find any pics of a scorpion named P. ugandaensis on google or anywhere else.

Answered my own question and found a paper on them.

http://www.science.marshall.edu/fet/euscorpius/p2011_129.pdf

They are smaller than P. imperator 9 - 12 cm. Doesn't state how communal they are but by the looks of it captive care is very similar to P. imperator.

Isn't scorpion files brilliant lol.
