I have been doing alot of searching and cant come up with a correct assumption enough to convince me that this is a H. Troglodytes or a H. Paucidens. I saw a post where someone had been told that theirs was a Trog and it was a Paucidens. Just stumped. And after seeing a link of someone elses Flat Rock enclosure, im ashamed of what I have her housed in lol.

OK, so after approx 12 hours of searching the internet, ive came to the conclusion (I think) that she is an olive keel flat rock. I can live with that. But im to wonder if the baby I have was correctly labeled? Says H. Troglodytes "African Flat Rock" on the lid that is on the deli container I brought him home in. If thats the case I have 2 different kinds of scorps. AWESOME Clarification 129887
Hopefully she came to me gravid.

Sorry if I look like I dont know what im doing, cuz I dont lol. Im still learning so its all new to me, but this page

petbugs.com/caresheets/H-troglodytes.html says that I need to keep 70 to 75% humidity, this page

invertcare.com/caresheets/scorpions/Hadogenes/Hadogenestroglodytes.html says 60? The temp is the same on both pages but...

What you look for is yellow bands on each piece of "armor" on its carapace. If it has yellow bands then its paucidens, if it's straight brown then it's troglodytes. The one pictured looks to be a really fat paucidens, doesnt seem dark enough to be trog and I think i see yellow bands, though its a lil harder to see since its a fatty.

You cant ID these by color bands alone, if you check out the IDkey for Hadogenes sp. you would be supprised Very Happy, they can be hard to ID
But i would just call it Hadogenes sp.

If you want to build a good inclosure you can use stuff like flat rocks or old bathroom tiles ( remeber to wash and clean these pretty good, since some of the kit that are used in older bathroom have strong anti fungus stuff in them )

but you can allso check this link out
https://www.google.com/search?q=Hadogenes+enclosure&rls=com.microsoft:da:IE-Address&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7ADRA_daDK400&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=da&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=UQPnTpVGy6OyBt6ozNAH&biw=1280&bih=873&sei=VgPnTqGrC4vEswbI9vjVBw

it got some pictures of differnt ways to make a enclosure
