| I was going to post just what i do at the weekend, but there must be a lot more behind every member on here. So, my fellow scorpion freaks, what else do you get up to other than condemning crickets to death in the worst possible manner? Here are my other hobbies, which all help to separate me from all the people in the world not classed as "odd": Regia Anglorum: My weekends summed up in two words. one weekend every month (and one full week a year) im in a recreated Anglo Saxon settlement digging holes and filling them in, moving wood countess times until it achieves its final purpose and is burned, and getting ridiculously dehydrated and hungry and stung by bees and bitten by ants, and i have to take the monday off work afterwards to sleep. As well as this there are the kitmaking/training sessions one sunday a month where i go to someone's cottage with a tiny back garden and 20-30 other people and we sit around eating BBQ ribs, making things (clothes, shields, endless numbers of benches etc.) and generally beating the hell out of each-other with swords, spears, axes and seax's (like a machete but heavier). this, i pay an annual fee to do. to be continued... endlessly... |

I guess I shouldn't be surprised I've had melted metal in various spots. lolzzzz And the selonid failed on the hydraulic setup cus' the dude that sold it to me had it wired wrong. 48 constant volts through 2 gauge wire for like 30 seconds. tsk tsk tsk. It was melted by the time I got back there |

Yeah it's not something you can just leave there without caring for. Gotta charge batteries, replace fluid, check every valve, motor, dump, etc. before a cruise.
I used to build models too. And I put motors in them with strings that pulled on the axles and made it hop or raise/lower depending...
My dream lowlow is a 67 impala :scorp: |
