Sounds ok, but post a pic so we can get a better idea of what you have going on.
I would say 15 gal is the absolute minimum for 2 emps.
Do you have two hides or just one?

ehhh i have my two emps in a 10 gallon they do fine, mostly in their burrows anyway.i do want to get a 20gallon for em though but then again i do kinda wanna save some room.but then again i do like a big tropic tank.but then again...

your 15 is perfect. id give em more substrate though.id say 5'' should be the minimum leading up to a bigger slope of 8''-10''.makes for more floor space and adds a little more depth in the substrate for a bigger burrow and visual aspect.
he said he has a half log and coco hide.so dos.
id add some flat hides as well, like a piece of slate or cork bark too.

get some pics up for sure.lets see what your working with.

Well, in the end each keeper decides how much they think is enough. I personally prefer to give them more space, and I wouldn't put 2 emps in anything smaller than 15gal, though you are probably right, they may do well even in a 10gal.

I'm moving my 2 hets into a 65 litre tank, and laoticus are quite smaller than regular full grown emps.

Btw, is it imperial or US gallon we're talking about in here (I suppose US), there's quite a difference between the two.

sounds fine but post pics ans you ahould always have enough hides so you have at least one each per scorp really they recommend you have one more than you have scorps...may be hard to fit 3 hides in a 15g though Smile

yeah i got 3 hides in there(half coco nut shell, half log,and a piece of slate)also the substrate is like 4.5 in the cool end where they never go and its probably more like 7 in the warm end also they don't even use their hides they just have a little under ground tunnel that they stay in.

i have a pair of H. longimanus in a 200L... they are quite happy, and seem to not want to burrow much... 60L is my minimum for emps (and similar sized things).
