| in my experience females are usually more docile unless pregnant, males seem alot more defensive/aggressive. But its a flip flop, some females can be psycho and males docile. | |

| my male is calmer than my female.
both of mine are pretty chill once you get em out of their enclosure and handling em.
there are mixed experiences but id say its gonna come down to your individuals you keep and your experience with your own. | |

| Never owned a female, but my male is rather defensive. (He will not hesitate to crush your fingers or try to sting you) I still handle him sometimes though. You just have to know what you doing. I have handled females at bug shows, and they seem to be more calm than the males.
