As I know they grow max 5cm , this one is 3cm so I guess he is half way there. Still dont know the gender of this one but he is most aggressive of all my scorpions. You should see the struggle to catch dubia twice his size and he overpowers it no problem.

I heard UK has some stray colonies that are beeing observed but the species is not native to UK. Here in Croatia Italicus is the most common scorpion and you can find them in no time if you combine moist, darkness, rocks or cracks in stone walls.

in 10 years I passed many times by one ungardened grass field by my old apartment and the field is only grass except for one pile of 4-5 stones. Not once after turning any stone I didn't find Italicus there. At a time I didn't know the species and wasn't so into scorpions I just knew these were black with brown legs (Italicus) and some other scorpions I saw (mostly in buildings) were brownish with tan legs (Flavicaudis).

With consultation with some scorpion experts we concluded that this scorpion is actually Euscorpus Hadzii no Flavicaudis , so I changed the topic name.

Small one is still a mystery...
