Hope Im posting this in the right place. Today my guy got me a second Tri-Color. She's pretty big. Wondering if anyone can tell me if they think she's gravid or just in premolt. She doesnt seem to be eating right now, but is just as active as my other scorps. Adult for sure by size. I hope if she is it turns out better than my last gravid scorp situation

((For those who recall I had the mother U. mordax who was gravid and had babies, well sad part of that was my sisters husbands stupid cat somehow slipped in my room knocking her over and all of her babies off her back. A few days later all the little ones were dead. Needless to say I was NOT happy with that cat.))

Id say a pretty good chance about being gravid. Scorps dont get that fat unless molting. Males dont eat nearly enough to get fat. Females only do it when they're storing nutrients to survive giving birth and the weeks before birth (they dont eat anymore)

Well Im not completely sure it's a 'she' Im just assuming. Is an adult though. I guess I'll just wait and see. Anyone want to give me care tips if I do happen to spot little scorps however? Other than bumping up the humidity? Thanks.

Nope, humidity is all thats needed... and food.... I dont know what the caresheets for these are, but usually they can be kept a bit cooler than the adults too.
