hi, so i bought an emperor scorpion..today as my first arachnid/insect pet. i have all the setup and diet down, i just have some questions and concerns to address. so first of all this guy seems pretty laid back, very docile in fact. transferring him from store to tank was no problem. pretty damn cool for something that looks so menacing. problem is Ive noticed he has a small fracture on his right claw, near the upper pincer going inward towards the arm, but is very small. worse off is his/her right claw. There is a rounded crack, fairly big it takes up a decent portion of the top part of his/her claw but isnt very deep. looks like is cracked on the surface and no deeper, just a bit pushed in.(almost like it was poked/smashed in with something small). im wondering if this will impact its.. well.. its life! hes about a good 6-8in (head to tail) so im not sure how old, but i dont think young. in short, im wondering if it will fix itself? i hear they dont molt when older, but i wonder if it does that will fix it. any advice on how hardy they are, or what i could do, or if any other info is needed please reply. im new to the game but im ready to step up and do what i can. This scorpion is the [hopscotch], i dont wanna do harm SO HELP ME PLEASE. ill be looking up lots of info on these guys.
