| Please help me ID this little fellow (26 millimetres) found in the basement of my new house in Tuscany. I also found a female with babies! | |

| almost 100% sure it's Euscorpius italicus if it is, don't worry about it, the sting is pathetic and they seldom use it!! | |

| Thanks Bex and Tom, Italicus it is, then! The locals also told me that it was quite harmless. I personally find it very beautiful in a scorpion-archetypal kind of way...
What should I feed him? He seems to like crickets... I give him water - is that necessary? Is Italicus in any way interesting for collectors? | |

| Italicus is interesting for me lol. My lonely girl needs a mate . Crickets are a perfect food for him (it looks like a him anyway because of its larger sting), give him a small dish of water and make sure he has plenty of places to hide in his enclosure. They are a really easy species to care for and are definately one of my favourites. | |

| Great! I have the female with babies too... Let's see what we can do if they make it through to adulthood. | |
