How old/big before imps breed?

Several weeks ago I bought a large male from a flea market, he's doing great. I have since bought a female from Petco. She is fully colored, but only about 3/4 the size of the male. How old or what size do they have to be before they breed? I keep their enclosure at about 85 deg, 80-85%hum. At first they really didn't get along. I think the female stung the male. Things are a little better now and although they occasional sleep in the same hide, they spend most of their time in separate hides.

not sure but i'm actually curious to this as well because I plan to get a male to breed with my female.

Post some pictures, that will be the easiest way to determine the age. If you can, get a picture of their underside too, to determine they are in fact male and female. Not very many people in pet stores and such know what they are talking about when it comes to arachnids.
I have seen a lot of Asian Forest Scorpions labeled as Emperors, and vice versa. As well as my A. Versicolor Tarantula, was labeled as A. Metallica.

I don't have good pic's of my imp's yet, but here is their enclosure. I can tell you he's about 6" and she's about 4.

generally the females are bigger,well girth wise.underside pics will be needed to determine this though.

From what I've read Emperors can vary greatly in size depending on where they are from, or just from genetics.

deffo both adults, and +2 on the size thing we have 3 adults and they are all dif in size

so given their age would you say they are ready for breeding?

From what I understand, they both are 1-2 molts from maturity.
