Molt pics :)

My regalis molted today so thought id take some pics of all the molts

Gz bex!! She is feeling right at home! How do you get all your scorpion skins in that posture? DO you wet them first? Mine are all shriveled up. Doesnt look like a scorpion anymore.

Do you have pictures of your regalis now? They look awesome freshlyshed.

all the scorp molts was just like that lolz didnt have to do anything with them... its really hard to get any pics of her she has made like a web burrow type thing although she kinda oput atm hold on will try to get some pics

Pokies are just scary in general! LOL, as I've said before, things that live in trees just give me the creeps. Especially highly potent giant spiders that can jump...

Didnt get a yes, but doing it anyway.

What I noticed about my pokies was that when they approached a moult they could climb but less effective over time. So they looked more sluggish at the end of an instar.

When they are freshly moulted their climbing speed is even faster and meaner.. yes they get another level of awareness the older they get.

I do notice that with my Tokays aswell, when they go dull and are about to shed.

@will - thanks i love collecting all the molts...im a bit strange like that also have every dead scorp (that wasnt mutilated or eaten lol)

@pluto - god i had my whole arm in there about an hour to get the molt out lol was at the bottom of her burrow/web type thingy so i went in the opposite end to her lol so could of had a rapid teleportation incident then....oooops ....thanx for the warning wont be doing that again lolz

Well she needs to harden up Bex. But when she does.. watch out, they're faster than you already thought they were, before the moult. Doesnt matter though, they dont bite as fast as people say. Its just, if they get on your back... good luck getting them off without losing them, or worse getting them into your shirt or something.

ahhhh just made me feel all itchy lolz the thought of it running around...eeew i lost a c.marshalli off the kitchen worktop yesterday was putting it tnto its home from tub it went out of tub into home straight up the other side and out and skydived to the floor.......a caught it and put it bk but its not moved since think its dead poor thing only tiny too

I should have been more ready for it wellni was but not ready enough obviously won't happen again that's for sure!!!

Regalis is drinking water off the aides of the glass ATM lol and leaving like condensation breath marks freaky

Its a good thing!!! Its making sure its hydrated after the moult! 100% survival like that

It has a nice big waterdish lol but sooo not interested likes licking glass instead lol
