Hunting the hunters Empty
PostSubject: Hunting the hunters   Hunting the hunters Empty6/23/2011, 6:10 pm

Howdy all,
Now that I am out in Cody for the summer, I was wondering if y'all could give me any tips on scorp hunting. I don't really have any gear, but I have the resources to be able to have everything but a UV light. Is it even possible to hunt scorps without a uv light? But like I said, everything else is good to go just wondering if I just go walking around the desert poking around under every rock/bush I find or if it's a little more refined than that. Also, can I hunt scorps during the day? I ask because I am starting a job next week and my hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Blah. But it pays really good. So yea, anything Y'all got lemme know. Thanks all!

I really would recommend UV, might be quiet hard without it!

Wyatt, finding scorps in the day isn't a problem. Just flip flattish rocks that aren't buried. Usually this works best at the base of a hill or cliff. Good luck bro. I'm off for the fourth to the desert. If I find anything I'll let you know...

Hey thanks Street. My job like I said is working nights so I am not going to have a lot of time to hunt at night but I will try my hand at searching during the day. If you're around Cody in the next couple weeks let me know. Thanks again man.
