Howdy all!
Now that I live in Cody I have the opportunity to go scorp hunting! I was so psyched for this in the weeks that I was preparing to move and it did not dissapoint. I now have six P. Boreus in my rapidly growing collection. Including one VERY pregnant female. Woot! I suppose some people would think that walking around for hours flipping over rocks for tiny scorpions would be crazy incarnate but I am officially addicted. When I move here permanently, I will be going out to various places as often as I can to sample different species. Today whilst hunting in the town gravel pit, I expirienced my first full-on scorpion sting, right on the tip of my knee. I was kneeling down, trying to catch the little heathen when it ran right to my knee and promptly began mauling it. P boreus aren't very big but dang they pack a bit of a punch! All in all the many adventures of scorp hunting have proven to be worth while, even without the cool glow in the dark routine you true die hards use. But all in god time.

2 P. Imperator
6 P. Boreus
1 Western Rattlesnake
1 Sagebrush Lizard
1 G. Porteri
And growing by the day!

porteri is a name, for a colour morph of rosea. and it wasn't in the sig, so one would assume that this was what he caught.
