I'd wait until there are no visible signs of moisture in there. Mycosis comes from prolonged exposure to damp substrate As it'll spend most of it's time in the burrow, you should wait until it's dry. I've also got a desert hairy tank that has been drying for a month now. Just one corner still wet LOL.

How long Is ages?? Normally takes about a week maybe a bit more to dry out fully Smile deffo wouldn't risk putting it in if it's still damp Smile

When the surface is corkdry till about 1.5 inch deep I put mine in.. Keep it hot and ventilated and no harm will be done. At least not here

I dropped a water tub into my Desert hairy setup. The pair were living in there together, hidden away in burrows and well over a liter of water went into it. I soaked away pretty quick and both scorps run out.
I was very surprised to see them both run for one of the puddles and start drinking from it. They stayed drinking for a while then just carried on like nothing had happened.
I didnt pull them out or attempt to dry the tub, just left them to it.
Havn't seen any problems and doubt if I will now, it's been well over a month.
