PostSubject: Trying to escape   Trying to escape Empty5/31/2011, 9:50 am

Guys I noticed that my P trans trys to escape its enclosure.

He tries to climb its enclosure and stands on its tail.

Im worried that it might get stressed. I offer it food but resists

What should I do? Thanks guys Wink

They all try to escape. You should be worried if he actually can. They are just exploring. Glass is not natural to them so they keep trying to get across the invisibile object.

Not much you can do.. but keep it inside.

It is not particularly a sign of stress. How big is the enclosure?

Add rocks and things in it, which it can climb and amuse itself with. Doing this you will also artificially enlarge the walkable ground area (by adding layers it can walk on).

My P Cav does the same. Goes Corner to corner trying to climb them. Stands on it's tail too. Your P Trans is probably refusing food as it isn't hungry that's all. I'm new to scorpions and get quite paranoid about mine being ok.

Thanks for your concern bro Smile

Or maybe mine's on a pre-molt now (I hope so) he's always hiding, refuses food and its abdomen segments is a lil far by each other Smile
