hi every one ive found some stones in the garden how long should i bake them for and wot gas mark and do just put them on a shelve in oven or wrap them in tin foil

just stick them on a tray gas 200 for half hour should do it Smile

Lol, I just put them in a tank. NEVER bother baking, boiling, bleaching, washing or anything.
If something's very dirty I MIGHT give it a shake or knock. Thats about it though.

Hehe, you can put the rocks in the oven for lke 20 mins at 225 .. Most will be dead by then, or put it in the freezer. I myself like the oven more.

I worry less about baking stones than I would about wood or soil. There shouldn't be anything living on the inside, and the outside can be cleaned pretty well with just a brief scrub.

But always better to err on the side of caution. Smile
