put her beside a ruler and get a pic that way. Smile yeah i think it's also an adult. you can take the lid off the enclosure without getting stung. just keep your distance and be respectful of what it can do. no need to be 'scared' but just keep in mind that she's not defenseless..Wink

They can hurt if they sting, but they are not something to be scared of too much.
That said, whatever you do, do it with confidence. That way you'll less likely make mistakes or move in an awkward way which the scorp might find aggressive toward him and sting.

Only you can let us know how tall it is Smile

Looks to me an adult, likely not ever to moult again.

Definitely an adult, and I'd wager a guess at Heterometrus longimanus.

And if this is your only scorpion, and you're too nervous yet to reach into the tank, you're definitely not ready for Parabuthus or Hottentotta.

+1 arachnophile223
If you are afriad to get pinched, throw in a ruler and get a pic of your scorp beside it.
After you're done, just remove the ruler with a long pair of tongs.
I'm going with Heterometrus longimanus as well. Nice scorp btw Smile

Well I try to build a little confidence now Wink

The other day I let him/her crawl on my hands in place him/her back to his/her tank Smile

Thanks for the concern mister ;P
