Hi, congratulations on your new scorpion and its good to see you have researched and done nearly everything correct. What you do need to do though is move your heat mat from underneath the tank and stick it on the side of instead. In the wild scorpion burrows would have a more stable air temp. than above ground and scorpions would retreat into them to escape extremes of temperature (hot or cold). Having the heat mat on the bottom means it is hotter underground than above which is not natural and could stress the scorpion. By having the heat mat on the side the air above the substrate will be heated instead, creating a more natural environment.
Keep an eye on the temperature in the tank, anything in the high 20s is good (26c - 29c) and make sure you keep humidity around 80% +. You shouldnt need a light (lights also dry out the substrate quickly and so can make it difficult to keep high humidity) as long as your heat mats big enough, you could also place some insulation behind the heat mat if its not quite hot enough.
Anyway good look with it all. I'm sure youll love keeping a scorpion.
