i was wondering where can i buy a desert hairy . i dont want to buy online because the shipping is to expensive.i also dont want to drive 2 hours to get the scorpion. my question is do the stores like petco and petsmart ever sell desert hairys? i had my emp for a month know and i am thinking about buying some other scorpion. i was also wondering if loud music bothers emperors.

i live in the suburbs of Chicago so if anyone could tell me where i could get one i would really appreciate it

They have priority free shipping. Even if they charge, it's still one of the cheapest around. Their reviews are generally good as well.

Your probably gonna have to go with an online vendor. The stores you mentioned won't have them and unless there is some small pet store tucked away in the city you will have a hard time. Shipping sux I know but about the only thing you'll find from those stores are Emps.

I have heard good things from TarantulaInc but have never ordered from them. I'd also recommend KenTheBugGuy.com. You will pay shipping there but you will get gauranteed good service and good stock.

I've never found a Petsmart that carried scorpions at all, but I actually did find my bark scorpions in a Petco. This was the only time I ever saw anything other than an Emp in a store though, ever, and it was like striking gold haha.

Petco and Patsmart carry emperors at least over here in California they do...But look for a small petstore and they may carry scorpions.
