Hey guys bought a new scorpion today and was wondering if the heat mat has a certain time to be on or if it stays on all the time? Thanks

Unless You Have A Thermostat In-Line, It Will Stay On All The Time!
So what kind of scorpion did you happen to get?

well if you use a thermostat that the heat mat plugs into you can adjust/regulate the temp, otherwise the heat mat will just stay on all the time witch is a good thing IMO. FYI. only if you did not know this already: do not put the heat mat on the bottom of the tank, put it on the back side of the tank... i hope this helps.
? are you going to use a false bottom set up ?

Ah right thank you and yeah put it on back anyway don`t want to cook him. Read up a lot on emperor scorpions before i bought one just never found if you have to keep heat mat on all the time or not
