OMG, babies! Empty
PostSubject: OMG, babies!   OMG, babies! Empty1/4/2011, 9:49 pm

This kind of relates to the post just before mine, but the tips etc. I'm sure change a bit between species. I have a Dune scorpion, which is not a tropical species like the emp, so if there is anything specific to dry species, please let me know here. Anyway, today I came home from work and noticed a pilie of tiny scorps on what I thought was a males back. I cant tell how many there are yet. I would like to keep some or all of them, or maybe sell some to the reptile store where I bought the mom. Do they buy them typically? What is an average cost per baby?

I see some good feeding related info in the post just prior to mine, so that helps. Anything else habitat wise is another thing I want to be sure is setup properly.

Thanks

is id a smeringurus mesaensis? they are what i normally see called dune scorpions.
i would say it will be harder to raise the babies than it would for a forest species because of possible molting problems...
