It's a nice scorpion! I must say I'm surprised how light it is in the colours.. Thought they would be much darker, even as a juvenile Chin Scratch

Yea, I've never seen a bicolor that's orange, are you sure it's a bicolor? Are you sure it's not a Androctonus baluchicus? I would ve very surprised if it actually was a light colored bicolor morph but I have been corrected before.

Thanks guys Smile

Yep its a A.Bicolor.
"orangey" shot was taken during sunset using natural light. I'm using iphone4 for my shots and its a challenge to get the colorations right:

If i take shots without flash, i have to make sure ample light is shine upon the scorp, if the strength of the light source is not sufficient, picture taken will not be clear.. if too much light is cast.. the scorp's coloration will turn pale.. its kinda hard to get the correct "mixture", a few photos shown is taken using natural light.

If i use flash.. the coloration will turn towards yellowish.. so ultimately its a matter of balancing the light source.

Envy you guys who hold a DSLR Very Happy

I'll wait for a few more days and take some extra shots (after her exo has harden completely) and post up here Smile

LOLz.. sry about the fat & black distraction Laughup
Like the A. Bicolors, that P.Trans has molted and rehoused individually.

Oh its a small fragment of coconut shell.. its lighter then slate and works well as a hide for my temp desert housing.
In addition, it will not crush your scorp in anyway. As i recall, there was one incident while removing a slate with tongs, i almost drop it on the juvenile scorp What a Face
