| Oh yeah, they were freaking sweet deals. When I went in and after seeing the prices, I had to look at them several times over just to check if I wasn't going nuts Pretty ridiculous deals, because those $160 terrarium setups were going for $80 and I'm sure they were barely making profit off of that because adding up all of the individual items included would have raked up at least $60. For example, the desert terrarium they were selling had two heat domes, a spot light, a night time heat bulb, an enclosure mat, a thermometer, a metal mesh top and one more item (a hide?). If you add up those individual prices including the tank, it's a pretty penny. Another person I know was able to snag a T. blondi for $50! It was pretty large as well--that's pretty ridiculous. And if you guys have seen prices for tortoises, you know how high they can get, but to see them at half price, I was seriously questioning how they were going to make money. Hopefully they will have another Black Friday sale next year |
