[HELP]Liocheles australisae,Liocheles weigensis,Chaerilus celebensis!

Any info on these guys? Can't seem to find them on the net. =/

for Liocheles australisae go here and get a hold of Mark Newton. to the best of my knowledge, nobody outside of Australia can just get these scorps (very heavy import/export restrictions on Aussie animals) so if you found a magic source for them then feel free to share said info.

Well, a fellow hobbyist here in Malaysia has contact with a Phillipino invert breeder who goes by the name of Vixvy. I do not know how to contact him but I've got reviews on him, here.

make sure that this won't happen to you because not only does it suck for you but it sucks for Vixvy. governments suck like that. I haven't seen Vixvy selling anything since november but he does have great reviews.

My fellow hobbyist has been in contact with Vixvy and I've read the forwarded emails between them. Well, they seem pretty confident that the deal would go through smoothly so we'll just hope for the best.

I can get ahold of Vixvy for you. Let me know if you need helpf from him and as far as L. waegenisis goes they can be kept under the same requirements as P. imp. BUt not as much substrate.

Ahh thanks Eddy. I know who to find now if I need assistance. Weigensis are native to Australia right? I thought Australia's climate isn't tropical, no rainforests there as far as I can remember.

There's a lot of rainforests along the northeast coast.

I got mine from the philipines. I dont think it's australian and if it is I could kick myself for killing it. See I didn't have anyone tell me how to care for them so I put one on dry substrate and one on moist. The one on dry died and the moist one died soon after because I was moving around my hot box and the container fell. It wasn't untill later that somebody told me to keep them at high humidity all the time. There not as adjustable as P. imps so they'll die shorty if put in dry substrate. I might be getting more of these soon.

Ok, question on L.Aus. I've read that they're able to perform Parthenogenesis. Does this only occur in female specimens or both?

My bet is on female specimens only since males do not have the unfertilized eggs required but a friend says both sex are capable of reproducing offsprings by itself. Help!

I believe their are Australian populations of both. L. australisae are very widespread in the Pacific.
