| my female emp has been acting very strange for the last month or so. she will rear rite up to a corner and stands tail end in the air so her face is pretty much in the substrate. she is still quite active and eating fine but i have noticed her out quite a bit in the mornings and she does seem a bit more snappy. anyone else had anything like this before?? ill try and get a picture but she keeps on hidding under a burrow when i take the lid of the tank. |

| That is quite strange. I've kept a ton of Emps but I don't think I've never observed that specific behavior before. Could she be gravid? I've seen some pretty strange behavior in gravid females, ie: aggression, turning upside down, twisting into unusual positions, digging in corners, etc... If your temp and humidity are normal and she's eating well, I'm not really sure what else it could be.
Try to get those pictures up. |

| She might have eaten them before you saw them. |

| I'm sorry to hear that man.
It happens. Sometimes they only have 1 or 2 and they might have been underdeveloped.
Or as Chrome mentioned, she may have had others that she ate before you had a chance to see them.
Still... that sucks! Better luck next time Manser. |
