| It is not freshly moulted. I bought it in a pet shop about 2 months ago and they do not know what kind it is. | |

| You aren't going to tell if it's a longimanus or laoticus or spinifer until at least the next molt then you'll be able to tell if it's a longimanus or not. But judging from the angles it looks more of a longimanus because of the chelae and arm segment length. Not saying it couldnt be a spinifer, too early to tell again, but just seems that way. | |

i thought the other was longimanus-ish because the claws look fairly smooth and long, but i cant remember if that would mean its more likely to be spinifer...
(im not good at this IDing stuff btw.)

We have no idea lol Alex is on the case though I'm sending regular updates with molts and stuff, the shop where I got it the woman keeps telling me it's def a forest scorpion lol I gave up asking her to find out which species and sub species lol I get the same answer every time I go in " we spoke to the guy we got it from and it's a forest scorpion" lol * thank you* bless her she is sweet but like most pet stores clueless on scorpions | |
