Somewhere I have a shot of me and my wife with the day's sturgeon catch. Our first time fishing for sturgeon, I caught the biggest on the boat. Very Happy

One sec, I think I know where to find it . . .

This was from several years ago . . . I switched to contacts in 2006.

Nice catch, Manser!
For a first time, those are some great catches. I think the only fish I managed to catch on the pier was about 3 inches haha

Yes I know the warren mate. A couple people i tattoo fish there, that where you fish? I too enjoy using a quivertip for some light fun but full weekends after the carp is my passion. 14lbs is still a good carp and I think they fight better than the lumps to be honest!

Newlands hall!! no way, I done my work experience there many years ago now. A ride on lawn mower and a quad, good times!

I'd definatly be up for a session one day. I too enjoy the rivers but a few years ago I had aload of gear stolen so unfortunatly I stay in locked gates now.

Yep your right there mate, as nice as it is by the bank with blazing sun, just don't catch much. Also if you like your pike then it has to be winter, as you know they don't recover well in the summer. Another thing i like about winter is you don't have to fight for a swim! lol

Il have to dig out some of my pike pics nothing as big as in your pic though. Got a weight on that?
