My female P. Transvaalicus is going i8 soon I think. She has the moult fatness.. BADLY.
Hope she does it soon, so the male can finally get what he wanted..

And me too 6-10 months later Very Happy So kinda nice news, considering it is a fresh female then.

[Discussion] Parabuthus spp. - Page 15 Parabuthus_liosoma_female_by_GS_pic7

Am so happy as it was a really loooong wait of more then 8months.
Check out more of her pictures in the molting thread below if you have time to kill. Enjoy!

Finally something to post here

Just picked up this girl last night supposedly gravid but really don't know she seems to be a little small in my opinion but I have never had a P. liosoma before. I thought the Parabuthus's were all really large species but this girl is only about 3 inches if anyone has any experience with these please let me know what you think.

So it's fine to house an adult male and female P.trans together in a 10gal tank right? Just making sure before I throw em in together.

btw, what is the speed of their growth?

Estimated.. from newborn scorplings to adults:
Males: 15-20 months (attaining i7)
Females: 15-24 months (possibility to attain i8)

Note: it may varies with different breeders, provided temp and optimal enclosure settings. My 2cents Smile
