should i use real plants in a scorp tank for display or is it a waste of time. if i do use them, what ones should i use, are any bad for scorps? Question ?

None besides those oil secreting ones are bad.
They die easily from constant disturbance. Go for fake plants.

I've heard people have problems with burrowers digging them up.

When I do larger display setups where I can have lamps over the tanks, I might give real plants a try.

i think real plants are good for keeping up humidity, but theres a chance the scorp will ruin it in some way. i'd use plastic. cheaper and alot stronger Smile

If your refering to tropical species like emps. I usually plant my plants in woodchips. Emps and Hets hate them. They wont burrow and hardly ever found near the plants. Moss is great too. In the first picture you can see the moss I use. In the second you can barely see some woodchips. The emps covered them in dirt but I surround the plant with them.
